My favorite lunch hang-out in the neighborhood From the outside the building looks like many other brick 🧱 buildings in the Brunswick area: red bricks, graffitis, and a blue roller door. Once you get closer, you will immediately spot the colorful flowers 💐 on the table, the yellow barrel for the plant 🌱 and the window for all take away orders. The inside looks like a cozy living room - loft style. There are several second hand sofas 🛋, old but comfortable. Once you sit down, it is difficult to get up [too comfortable]. On the wall is a bookshelf 📚 inviting you to grab a book and have a good read while enjoying tasty coffee and tasty food. This place is where Wood and Co Coffee started, hence they serve super tasty coffee! As I work just next door, I usually only order food, but from time to time I just cannot resist. Last time I order an espresso from Honduras 🇭🇳 Finca Fernández [Santa Barbara], Parainema, fully washed with flavors of pawpaw, dried apricot, and Werthers Echte. AMAZING 🤩. You should absolutely try the kimchi toasty, the pumpkin 🎃 soup 🥣, and - if you are scared of vampires 🧛‍♂️ - go for the mushroom 🍄 toasty: you will be safe forever, and it is soooo delicious.

Lovely cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is flexible, food is tasty and service is great. I have been a couple of times and it’s a wonderful place to do a little admin in between my teaching commitments in the area. Will definitely keep coming back ☺️ They also have a library and record player in the space.
